Tree Well Safety

Tree Well Safety
Heather Boothman
A Tree Well Is A Hole That A Rider Falls Into When They Run Into A Area Of Unconsolidated Snow, And Cannot Get Out. The More The Person Moves, The Harder It Is To Get Out.
The Person Can Suffocate Inside Of The Tree Well In Just A Few Minutes, Just As If He Were Under Water.
How To Prevent A Tree Well:
1 Thing You Can Do To Prevent A Tree Well, Is To Stay ON Groomed Ground, And Out Of Deep Snow. Some More Are Always Keep A Partner And Keep Him In Sight. Also, You Never Leave To Get Help. You Partner Will Probably Be Dead By The Time You DO Get Help. Either Put Your Skis Up In A Cross, Or Stand The Snowboard Up, And Try To Pull Out Your Partner.
